Basketball Recap: Sundown Comes Up Short

Sundown made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Plains, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Roughnecks fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 43-41 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Roughnecks in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sundown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Plains, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

Coincidentally, Sundown and Plains will both be playing Morton the next time they take the court. The Cowboys will host the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Roughnecks will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
