Basketball Recap: Konos Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Konos Academy had won three straight games and Joshua Knapp did his part to make it four on Friday. The Konos Academy Condor took their matchup with ease, bagging an 87-42 victory over the Lafayette Christian Cougars thanks in part to Knapp, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 13 boards. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Christian Craycraft, who posted 11 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Konos Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Lafayette Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Konos Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lafayette Christian, they will square off against Skipstone Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
