Soccer Game Preview: Souhegan vs. Hollis-Brookline

Souhegan hasn't had much luck against Hollis-Brookline recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Sabers will head out on the road to challenge the Cavaliers at 11:00 a.m.

Souhegan's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Laconia as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Hollis-Brookline hasn't lost a match since September 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor Plymouth could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Hollis-Brookline's draw makes their record 2-3-3 this season. As for Souhegan, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-2.

Souhegan suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Hollis-Brookline when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Sabers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
