Basketball Game Preview: Fargo South Bruins vs. Shanley Deacons

Fargo South is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Shanley an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Fargo South Bruins will host the Shanley Deacons at 2:30 p.m. Fargo South has given up an average of 77.7 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Last Tuesday, Fargo South ended up a good deal behind West Fargo and lost 82-68.

Meanwhile, Shanley didn't have quite enough to beat Grand Forks Central on Tuesday and fell 52-49.

Shanley's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Fargo South, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Fargo South was able to grind out a solid victory over Shanley in their previous meeting back in February, winning 71-62. Does Fargo South have another victory up their sleeve, or will Shanley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
