Baseball Preview: George County Rebels vs. Terry Bulldogs
The George County Rebels will take on the Terry Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (George County has six straight victories, Terry has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
George County barely beat Hancock the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Hawks on Saturday. On the hitting side, George County saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodie Cecchi, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave Cecchi a new career-high.
George County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hancock only managed one hit.
