Basketball Recap: Morrison Comes Up Short

Morrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-12 loss at the hands of the Wethersfield Flying Geese. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morrison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Wethersfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mercer County the next time they take the court. Wethersfield will head out to face Mercer County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Morrison will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
