It was a Battle of the Birds when Frankton duked it out with Muncie Burris on Tuesday. The Eagles breezed past the Owls to the tune of 60-29. With the Eagles ahead 36-12 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Frankton was led to victory by Trey Bennett and Ethan Stansberry. Bennett shot 63% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to seven blocks and six boards, while Stansberry went 5-for-6 to rack up 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Stansberry a new career-high. Ashton Brobston was another key player, shooting 63% from the field on his way to 12 points.
Frankton was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muncie Burris only posted five.
Muncie Burris' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances.
