Basketball Recap: Canadian Comes Up Short

Canadian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. The game between them and the Crowder Demons didn't end well, with the Canadian Cougars falling 48-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-42 on January 7th.

Canadian's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Crowder, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Canadian Cougars challenge the Pittsburg Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crowder, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-45 win against Savanna on the 25th.
