Soccer Recap: CHAMPS Comes Up Short

CHAMPS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Valley Oaks CES Vanguards, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in January.

CHAMPS's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Valley Oaks CES, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the CHAMPS duke it out with the Lakeview Charter at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Oaks CES, they will square off against Community Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
