League recap: Coconut Creek scores huge upset over Coral Glades

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Coral Glades, who took down 392nd ranked Coral Glades, 35-28.

Northeast extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 14 this week by beating Blanche Ely, 31-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Boyd Anderson's Gregory Hankerson and Eddie Jackson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Hankerson has thrown for 1605 yards this season, while Jackson, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 22 catches for 523 yards. Malik Bynum from the Jaguars leads the league in rushing with 239 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Cobras take on the Tigers. At the moment, Boyd Anderson is in second, while Blanche Ely is in fourth.

Coconut Creek moved up to 443 from 469 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 7A District 14. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Coral Glades 35-28.
