Volleyball Recap: Muncie Central Takes a Loss

Muncie Central lost against Huntington North back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bearcats fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Muncie Central still got an impressive performance from Haeley Rollins, who had 13 digs. Rollins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Leading Huntington North to victory were Myah Eltzroth and McKenzie DeHaven. Eltzroth had six digs and three aces, while DeHaven had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most assists DeHaven has posted over her last seven contests.

Muncie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Huntington North, their record is now 9-17.

Muncie Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Goshen on the 4th. As for Huntington North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Fremont on the 4th.
