Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westmont). They put the hurt on the Leland Chargers with a sharp 16-6 victory on Thursday. The Warriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th.

Regan Steele looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Marina Li was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Crowley, who went 2-for-5 with three runs and four RBI.
