Baseball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Calvary Christian Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Calvary Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augusta will host Bellevue at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvary Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pendleton County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
