Basketball Recap: Heppner Has No Trouble Against Ione/Arlington

Heppner's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-24 victory over the Ione/Arlington Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Heppner now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ione/Arlington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heppner and Dufur will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ione/Arlington, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Cove at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
