Football Game Preview: Northern Burlington Greyhounds vs. Central Regional Golden Eagles + How To Watch

The Northern Burlington Greyhounds will venture away from home to take on the Central Regional Golden Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northern Burlington took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 28-17 win over Haddon Heights.

Meanwhile, Central Regional waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They strolled past the Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 29-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Golden Eagles' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Spartans are ranked 203rd).

Central Regional's win came from a few key players Northern Burlington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elijah Reeder, who rushed for 35 yards and three TDs. He was even better on defense, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles (4.0 for loss). Another player making a difference was Jacob Halpin, who threw for 219 yards and one touchdown.

Northern Burlington's record now sits at 6-3. As for Central Regional, their record is now 8-1.
