Soccer Game Preview: St. Vincent de Paul vs. Elsie Allen

The St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Elsie Allen Lobos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Vincent de Paul is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

St. Vincent de Paul played against Roseland University Prep back in January and lost via forfeit.

Elsie Allen is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Piner on Wednesday. Elsie Allen fell just short of Piner by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 834th, while the Prospectors are ranked 384th).

Elsie Allen has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for St. Vincent de Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
