Rocky Mountain skates past Brighton with ease

The Rocky Mountain Lobos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Brighton at home to the tune of 78-48. The victory was nothing new for Rocky Mountain as they're now sitting on four straight.

Rocky Mountain found their leader in underclassman Daniel Mbadinga, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peyton Matkin, who scored 20 points.

Rocky Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Brighton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocky Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Boulder at 11:30 a.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Boulder focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for Brighton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poudre at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
