Softball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview and Southeastern squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Fairview had to settle for second. They fell 5-1 to the Southeastern Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Aggies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fairview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Kovar, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Fairview now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Southeastern, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will take on Cleveland in a tournament on Saturday. As for Southeastern, they will take on Fairview at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
