Volleyball Recap: Reidsville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Reidsville lost against McMichael on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams came up short against the Phoenix, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-5, 25-17.

Le'Miyah Graves paced Reidsville's offense, picking up four kills. Graves got some help from Katelyn Shaifer and her seven assists.

McMichael can attribute much of their success to Emily Smith, who had seven aces and one assist. Those seven aces gave Smith a new career-high.

Reidsville's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for McMichael, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Reidsville has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Morehead on the 30th. As for McMichael, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against South Point on the 26th.
