Baseball Recap: Methuen Takes a Loss

Methuen lost against Haverhill back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rangers took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillies. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Methuen's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Haverhill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Methuen will venture away from home to face off against Dracut at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers are facing the Middies at the right time seeing as the Middies are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Haverhill, they will square off against Newburyport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
