Soccer Game Preview: Baldwin vs. Bonner Springs

The Baldwin Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Bonner Springs Braves on Thursday. Baldwin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Baldwin was handed a eight-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They skirted past Leavenworth 1-0. Baldwin haven't had any issues with Leavenworth recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Bonner Springs' offense. They fell 2-0 to Tonganoxie on Thursday.

Bonner Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Baldwin, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-1.

Baldwin took their victory against Bonner Springs when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
