Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Crosby's 13th in Last 15 Outings

With a playoff win on the line, Crosby rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 57-50 victory over the New Britain Golden Hurricanes. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 75-60 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Crosby is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points over those games. New Britain is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.
