Soccer Game Preview: Bethune-Bowman vs. Timberland

The Bethune-Bowman Mohawks will head out to face off against the Timberland Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethune-Bowman's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Bethune-Bowman lost 6-1 to Branchville on Tuesday.

The Mohawks' goal came courtesy of Andres Morales, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, while the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was East Clarendon who was credited with the win on Wednesday. The Wolverines got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Timberland's three. Timberland have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bethune-Bowman's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Timberland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Bethune-Bowman came up short against Timberland when the teams last played back in March, falling 4-2. Can the Mohawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
