Baseball Recap: Lee Williams Volunteers vs. Coconino Panthers
Lee Williams hadn't done well against Coconino recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lee Williams Volunteers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Coconino Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Volunteers: when they faced off against the Panthers last Tuesday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.
Ian McGrew tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.

Lee Williams will take on Cactus Shadows and their six-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Coconino will try to stop Prescott's three-game winning streak when they meet at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
