Baseball Recap: Durango Comes Up Short

Durango and Arbor View squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Durango had to settle for second. They came up short against the Aggies, falling 10-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Trailblazers in their meetings with the Aggies: they've now lost seven in a row.

Durango's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Arbor View, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-6 record this season.

Durango does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arbor View, they will challenge Faith Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Aggies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
