Softball Recap: McGehee Takes a Loss

McGehee fell victim to Riverside Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 18-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

McGehee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Riverside Academy, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGehee will host Fisher at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Riverside Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
