Basketball Recap: Hagerty Falls Short of Timber Creek in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hagerty can now relate to. They fell just short of the Timber Creek Wolves by a score of 50-47 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Huskies have suffered since January 13th.

Hagerty's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asa Kohn, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 22 points and five assists. Kohn's evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Ortiz, who posted 11 points and six boards.

Hagerty's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Timber Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

Hagerty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timber Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-34 defeat against Winter Park on the 5th.
