Volleyball Recap: Viewmont Comes Up Short

Viewmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Brighton Bengals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Viewmont lost, don't look at Mia McGranaghan. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and two aces.

Viewmont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Brighton, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Viewmont will face off against Woods Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brighton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Olympus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
