Leyton Stearns Game Report: vs Maconaquah

Mississinewa had to settle for second on Monday, but Leyton Stearns sure wasn't going down easily. Stearns struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had over his last three matchups.

Stearns and Mississinewa will square off against Bellmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Braves will enter the matchup having just beaten Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, so the Indians will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
