Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jefferson lost against Manual back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints fell 3-1 to the Thunderbolts.

The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-13, 25-14.

Manual's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hermaigiony Ortega led the charge by getting seven aces and five kills. Another player making a difference was Savannah Hogarth, who had six kills and five aces.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Manual, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Jefferson will venture away from home to square off against Bruce Randolph at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manual, they will host Hinkley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Thunderbolts surely won't give up without a fight.
