Humboldt is 9-1 against Iowa Falls-Alden since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Humboldt Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets at 6:15 p.m. Iowa Falls-Alden took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Humboldt, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Humboldt was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Edmond, taking the game 54-41.

Meanwhile, Iowa Falls-Alden came up short against Hampton-Dumont/CAL on Tuesday and fell 40-28. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Hampton-Dumont/CAL are ranked 31st).

The win got Humboldt back to even at 10-10. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 10-10.

Humboldt was able to grind out a solid victory over Iowa Falls-Alden when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Humboldt since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
