Basketball Game Preview: Tri-City Christian Eagles vs. Army-Navy Warriors

The Tri-City Christian Eagles will challenge the Army-Navy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Saturday, Tri-City Christian strolled past Point Loma with points to spare, taking the game 48-34.

Tri-City Christian can attribute much of their success to David Turner, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points. Those 18 points gave Turner a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dre Cleaves, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Army-Navy humbled St. Joseph Academy with a 66-37 victory. That looming 66-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Tri-City Christian has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Army-Navy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

Tri-City Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Army-Navy when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win.
