Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Genesee). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Auburn Maroons 85-51. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Maroons are ranked 538th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Genesee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for Auburn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

As of now, neither West Genesee nor Auburn have any future games scheduled.
