Football Recap: Weatherford Christian Takes a Loss

The Weatherford Christian Lions came up short against the Grace Christian Academy Colts on Friday and fell 24-12.

Grace Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Warren Gilmore led the charge by rushing for 53 yards and two scores. Gilmore didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made seven total tackles.

Weatherford Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
