Softball Recap: Claysburg-Kimmel Picks Up 16th Straight Win at Home

Claysburg-Kimmel had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Meyersdale on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Red Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Harlee Harcolerode, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Bella Francona also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
