Liberty Magnet saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Trosclair, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Liberty Magnet has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-16 record this season. As for St. Augustine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Purple Knights beat Liberty Magnet by a score of 17-1 later that day.
