Basketball Recap: Berlin/New Lebanon Takes a Loss

Berlin/New Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-27 defeat at the hands of the Hoosick Falls Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Mountain Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 696th, while the Panthers are ranked 64th).

Berlin/New Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Hoosick Falls, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Berlin/New Lebanon won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Waterford-Halfmoon at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hoosick Falls, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Duanesburg at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
