Basketball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel lost to Lockwood back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Locomotives had to suffer through a 55-26 loss at the hands of the LIONS. The contest marked the Locomotives' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Laurel has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Lockwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coincidentally, Laurel and Lockwood will both be playing Park the next time they take the court. The LIONS will host the Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Locomotives will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th.
