Soccer Recap: Circle Takes a Loss

If Circle was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Winfield last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Rose Hill Rockets on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Circle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Rose Hill are ranked 23rd).

Circle's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Rose Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Circle has already played their next match (against Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rose Hill, they will square off against Eisenhower at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Rose Hill surely won't give up without a fight.
