Basketball Recap: Chazy Takes a Loss

Chazy lost against Keene Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chazy Eagles lost 51-25 to the Keene Central Beavers. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Keene Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vann Morrelli led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards. Morrelli continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Robjent, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Chazy dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Keene Central, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Chazy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Keene Central, they will host Lake Placid at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
