Basketball Game Preview: Toledo Indians vs. Napavine Tigers

Toledo is 0-10 against Napavine since February of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Toledo Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Napavine Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Toledo sitting on seven straight wins and Napavine on ten.

Toledo is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest victory since December 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They breezed past Ilwaco to the tune of 72-38. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Napavine humbled Onalaska with an 80-41 victory. The Tigers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Wednesday was the 12th match they've won by 20+ points this season.

Napavine's win was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.4 points. As for Toledo, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.

Toledo came up short against Napavine in their previous matchup back in January, falling 60-53. Can Toledo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
