It's playoff time, and Munster had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 46-14 victory over the Hammond Central Wolves. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Zierre Taylor and Jackquell Jackson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Taylor picked up 65 receiving yards and two scores, while Jackson threw for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The win made it two in a row for Munster and bumps their season record up to 4-6. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 28 points in those games. As for Hammond Central, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Munster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammond Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Merrillville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
