Volleyball Recap: Schaeffer Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Schaeffer Academy can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Tournament Opponent. That two set margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Schaeffer Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blythe Morgan, who had 11 kills. That's the most kills Morgan has posted since back in September. Ellie Lanners was another key player, getting 23 assists.

Schaeffer Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-18.

Tournament Opponent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Battle on the 11th. Hopefully Schaeffer Academy paid attention to Tournament Opponent's contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Tournament Opponent at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday.
