Football Game Preview: Bullard Panthers vs. Center Roughriders

Bullard hasn't had much luck against Center recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Roughriders at 7:30 p.m. Center took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bullard, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Bullard didn't have too much trouble with Rusk as they won 24-7. That looming 24-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

It was another big night for Micah Skaggs, who rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 106 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Center played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Carthage 60-14. The Roughriders have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory made it two in a row for Bullard and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Center, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Bullard took a serious blow against Center in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 49-19. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
