Franklin Academy found their leader in underclassman Hayes Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lewis has scored at least a third of Franklin Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Micah Rutledge, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Raleigh Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Franklin Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Raleigh Charter will be playing at home against Research Triangle at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against NCSSM: Durham at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. NCSSM: Durham will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
