It was a good run, but Mission Vista unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Torrey Pines Falcons.

Leading Torrey Pines to victory were Griffin Dieter and Zach Lau. Dieter had eight digs and two aces, while Lau had eight assists and four digs. That's the most aces Dieter has posted over his last seven games.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Torrey Pines, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-6.

Looking ahead, Mission Vista will venture away from home to face off against San Dieguito Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Torrey Pines, they have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Poway on the 29th.
