Basketball Recap: Cloverdale Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Cloverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 38-23 to the North Daviess Cougars. The Clovers were probably out for revenge after losing 50-27 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cloverdale's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-17. As for North Daviess, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cloverdale will square off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Cloverdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Daviess, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Daviess Cougars face off against the Bloomfield Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
