Baseball Recap: Haslett Comes Up Short

Haslett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Williamston Hornets, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 on Tuesday.

Haslett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Rienstra, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Braedon McGuire also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Haslett's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Williamston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-4.

Coming up, Haslett will face off against Northwest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williamston, they will square off against Notre Dame Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
