Recap: Carrboro vs. Graham

Carrboro couldn't get the job done on the road in its prior matchup, but it took care of business at home againt Graham. Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Carrboro beat Graham 26 - 21 last week.

Carrboro got off to a good start with a 20-point offensive effort in the first half. That gave them a 20 - 14 advantage at the half. In the end, the contest was a thrilling one, decided by a receiving touchdown from Carrboro with 2 minutes left in the game.

Carrboro found its leader in an underclassman: T. K. Paisant threw for 157 yards and three touchdowns, which was enough to make him one of the team's best players. Paisant went long for a 64-yard TD catch in the second quarter, one of the game's most exciting plays.

The win got Carrboro up to 3-5. The defeat brought Graham down to 2-7.

The teams are out to raise these records in their next games. Graham will look to defend its home turf against Cummings this Friday at 7:30 PM.
