Baseball Recap: Brownsburg Comes Up Short

Brownsburg lost against Franklin Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flashes.

Colin McNeer and Ethan Cougill stepped up to the plate in a big way. McNeer went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI, while Cougill went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Canyon Koonce was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Brownsburg's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Franklin Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13.

While Brownsburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
